PrayerWorks

Praying for those in need of healing is an important component of Jewish tradition.  PrayerWorks is a lay-led group that meets at 10 a.m. the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Lamar Campus.  Open to the community, PrayerWorks focuses on physical, spiritual and emotional healing.  Participants use relaxation, meditation and prayer to get in touch with themselves and God.

Attend PrayerWorks if you’re in need of healing or wish to pray for someone.  You can submit names to include for healing to the group facilitator, Rickie Haith at rickieh1@aol.com or 913-341-8707.  The name remains on the list for a minimum of three months unless you notify otherwise.

If you’re unable to attend, you can request a Power of Prayer booklet or a PrayerWorks at Home CD or cassette to use in the privacy of your own home. There is no charge for materials or to leave a name for healing.  Donations are welcome but not required.

PrayerWorks is supported by Beth Shalom Sisterhood and was organized in 1997.
