Our Heritage
Beth Shalom is a Conservative
congregation with a rich heritage in Kansas City beginning in 1878.
Currently, the congregation of approximately 900 families holds services
and programs encompassing the wide spectrum of Jewish religious, cultural,
educational, and social experiences. Specialty programs occur for
different age groups and for special events.
Our Mission
Congregation Beth Shalom, an
egalitarian synagogue community, is dedicated to cultivating, developing
and sustaining Judaism in accordance with the philosophy and standards of
the Conservative Movement.
